Forecast adds experienced data architect to growing team

We are pleased to announce that Euan Cranston will be joining the Forecast team as the Head of Engineering to lead our data architecture and engineering function globally.  Euan is an experienced Technologist having spent over 15 years’ covering Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Software Engineering and Web Development. His focus over the past five years has been in the migration of on-premise architectures to the Cloud, particularly in highly regulated environments.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and is currently undertaking a PhD in Management at Heriot-Watt University. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification. Prior to joining Forecast, Euan held senior roles in organisations including RBS, Tesco Bank, Starwood Hotels and Xerox Global Services.

Whilst Forecast will be helping clients with data engineering support on an as-needed basis, Euan’s primary role will be to develop our new platform, Decima.  Decima is a software platform that monitors events across your business using solutions developed by our Data Science, Visualisation, Financial Modelling and Engineering teams.

As always, Forecast remains committed to supporting our clients on their data analytics maturity journeys, and Euan and his team allows us to support from start to finish on the data vertical.
