Bardia’s journey is marked by impactful roles. He led Hewlett-Packard Enterprise’s Hybrid Cloud in APAC for over three years, established the A/NZ and EMEA sectors for Firstwave Cloud Technology, and led Cisco and Meraki operations at Dicker Data, Australia’s premier IT distributor.

Tu Tran

Finance Analyst

Tu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance Major) from SP Jain School of Global Management (Australia). He is currently pursuing Master of Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University.

His experiences in financial services span across Asia Pacific, including investment banking, private equity and structured products. Prior to joining Forecast, Tu worked as an investment banking analyst at Newport Capital - a boutique TMT (Tech, Media, Telecoms) advisory firm. Subsequently, he moved to Magnolia Capital to work as a Principal with prime focus on investment analysis, portfolio management and tail risk hedging.

In his free time, Tu (tries to) fly a plane and visits historical sites.

Sergio Rojas

Modelling Analyst

Sergio holds a master’s degree (Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance) from the Industrial University of Santander and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Los Andes.

Sergio has broad experience in building Excel Financial Models for clients in a wide variety of sectors, including Oil and Gas, Logistics, Financial Services, and Attorney's firms, amongst others.

Before joining Forecast, Sergio spent more than ten years with Ecopetrol (Colombian National Oil Company) at commercial, production, and logistics teams, working on many complex financial business models, financial valuation projects, transportation and logistics tariff negotiations and advising businesses in the areas of Cash Flow Forecasting, IBRs and Scenario Analysis.

Kristian Bell

Analyst

Originally from Belfast, Kristian is a part-qualified Chartered Accountant and has a BFin (Hons) degree in Finance from the University of Dundee.

Prior to joining Forecast in April 2022, Kristian spent two and a half years with KPMG’s Corporate Restructuring team, working on many complex insolvency engagements. Kristian also previously spent a summer working in the largest telecommunications company in Cambodia on an international internship.
Kristian has experience building Excel-based Financial Models for clients in a variety of sectors including Financial Services, Media and Telecommunications, Healthcare, and Housebuilding.

Outside of work Kristian likes to spend his time attempting to play golf and travelling.

Akbar Saleem, CFA

Finance Analyst

Akbar has a M. Commerce from University of Sydney (Business Analytics), and B. Business Administration from Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, Pakistan.

Before joining Forecast, he had almost 8 years of experience in data and financial risk analysis, including development and testing of banking Market/Credit risk models and carrying out sensitivity analysis. Akbar also worked for PRGx Australia in the recovery audit team responsible for providing data driven insights to big retail clients.

Outside of work, Akbar and his two tabby cats love watching their favourite team Arsenal Football club play and preferably win as their loss makes them a bit sad.

Lisa Poggiali

Senior Finance Analyst

Lisa holds a Masters in Applied Mathematics from Alma Mater Studiorum, the University of Bologna.

Prior to joining Forecast, Lisa was a Research Performance Analyst at Charles Darwin University. Lisa has over ten years’ experience working in financial and risk analyst roles within the banking and telecommunications industry in Europe, where she developed financial models and provided periodic management and board reporting.

Outside of work Lisa enjoys swimming and running. Her other interests include cooking and travel.

Sebastian Celis

Senior Finance Analyst

Sebastian holds Bachelor of Arts (Finance) from AIEP (Chile), an Associate of Science (Business) from Ensign College (USA) and is currently studying an MBA with Torrens University.

Sebastian has strong modelling and financial analytics experience within the financial industry. Prior to joining Forecast Sebastian worked with Credit Suisse as an investment banking analyst for the Latin America region, then moving to work with Wells Fargo as an equity analyst covering the US industrial transportation sector.

When Sebastian isn’t working on financial models, he is playing soccer or touring around the city with his family.

Orla McCrory CA

Senior Analyst

Originally from Belfast, Orla is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a degree in Accounting from Queen’s University Belfast. Orla has experience in both data analytics (with the use of tools such as Excel and Alteryx) and client consulting, which she gained as part of her previous role in Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC).

Prior to joining Forecast in January 2022 Orla specialised in employment taxes, particularly in areas such as National Minimum Wage, IR35 and the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme. She has extensive experience in dealing with some of the UKs largest employers, being involved in many data heavy projects requiring analysis to facilitate the decision-making process. Orla previously worked for the PKF International accounting network and Allstate Insurance Company in Chicago.

Outside of work, Orla is an avid filmgoer and enjoys painting portraits in her spare time.

Cincy Liu, CFA

Finance Analyst

Cincy is a CFA® charter holder and joined Forecast after completing her Master of Actuarial Studies at the University of New South Wales. Her electives included applied mathematics, financial modelling, risk management and data analysis in finance and insurance field. Cincy also holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Statistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Prior to studying at UNSW, Cincy has three years of work experience involving client-facing and analytics work in the finance industry. She has worked as an investment consultant in a financial services company in Hong Kong and has worked as an analyst in a private equity firm.

In her spare time, she likes cooking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Ian Garioch

Project Manager

Ian is a PRINCE2 Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance) and has a BSc (Hons) in Geography-Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen.

Ian has considerable experience managing projects in the Higher Education and Energy sectors, including geological laboratory testing for large oil and gas companies. Ian has also worked on the development and rollout of Online Education and Admissions systems as well as the creation of a business incubator hub at one of UK’s leading Universities. Prior to working for Forecast, Ian spent eight years leading a range of IT projects within the Directorate of Digital & Information Services at the University of Aberdeen and two years in the Energy Sector managing projects for an oil services company based in Aberdeen.

Outside of work, as a former international sprinter, Ian enjoys staying active by running, skiing and hillwalking.
