India Thomson

India holds a Masters in Statistics with Data Science from the University of Edinburgh. She has a passion for data and identifying patterns and problems where they would otherwise not be obvious. Her masters dissertation modelled trends in type 1 diabetes incidence in Scotland, whilst her honours dissertation tackled hierarchical clustering of mixed data using genetic algorithm generated weights. India is proficient in R and Python.

Bilingual, and raised between Germany and South Africa, India embraces cultural idiosyncrasy and the power of interpersonal relationships, both virtual and in-person.

In her free time she enjoys travelling, horse riding, Sudoku and spending time with friends and family.
