Ross Rahim-Anderson

Ross joined Forecast in 2021 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a Master’s degree in Astrophysics.

His master’s project focussed on simulating the dynamics of the large-scale universe in an ultralight dark matter model. He has also completed projects analysing the properties of galaxies in the early universe using data from the VANDELS spectroscopic survey and modelling the pulsation of cepheid variable stars in the local group. He has experience in STEM education research and works mainly in Python.

Outside of work Ross enjoys rock climbing and swimming. He spends his weekends enjoying the Scottish wilderness when the weather is good and reading when it is not.
