Emanuel is a Financial Analyst at Forecast, holding an MBA with the Dean’s Merit Award from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University. With over 12 years of experience in corporate finance and management consulting, Emanuel has a proven track record in financial modelling, business model innovation, and operational transformation.

Prior to joining Forecast, he served as a Corporate Credit Rating Manager at PEFINDO Group, a Standard & Poor's affiliate, and at Permata Bank in Indonesia.

Outside of work, Emanuel is an avid basketball player, a tea enthusiast, and is passionate about learning new things in life.

Lyndsay Owen

Commercial Director

Lyndsay is the Commercial Director of Forecast and has a Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Artificial Intelligence) Middlesex University, London.

Lyndsay has over 20 years’ experience in Data Science and Consulting with roles throughout Australia, UK and The Netherlands including Head of Data of RaboDirect, Commercial Director of Webalytix, and CEO of The Data Wizards. Lyndsay is the conduit between technicality and laymen and loves to solve problems and tell stories using data.

As a keen Arsenal supporter, Lyndsay loves to play football and is often referred to as Lyndsay “Michael” Owen. She is a coach for her daughter’s school team and loves yoga, horse riding, skiing, dancing, and outdoor exercise.

Tu Tran

Finance Analyst

Tu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance Major) from SP Jain School of Global Management (Australia). He is currently pursuing Master of Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University.

His experiences in financial services span across Asia Pacific, including investment banking, private equity and structured products. Prior to joining Forecast, Tu worked as an investment banking analyst at Newport Capital - a boutique TMT (Tech, Media, Telecoms) advisory firm. Subsequently, he moved to Magnolia Capital to work as a Principal with prime focus on investment analysis, portfolio management and tail risk hedging.

In his free time, Tu (tries to) fly a plane and visits historical sites.

Ashton Gribble

Data Scientist

Ashton holds a Bachelor of Economics (Economics and Pure Mathematics) from the University of Sydney, and a TensorFlow Developer certification.

Before Forecast, Ashton worked as a Data Scientist for Lendlease developing their Podium Digital Twin product – most notably creating a financial modelling Python library. He has worked on projects in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and statistical modelling.

In his free time, Ashton enjoys music production, tennis and (tries to enjoy) golf.

Tyler Frost

Senior Data Scientist

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.

Prior to joining Forecast, Tyler worked as a data scientist in market research, most recently at Roy Morgan. He has worked on projects in statistical modelling, machine learning, natural language processing, and process automation, providing insights to clients in media, retail, insurance, and telecommunications sectors.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys travel, podcasts, and exploring Melbourne’s cafes and bars.

Sebastian Celis

Senior Finance Analyst

Sebastian holds Bachelor of Arts (Finance) from AIEP (Chile), an Associate of Science (Business) from Ensign College (USA) and is currently studying an MBA with Torrens University.

Sebastian has strong modelling and financial analytics experience within the financial industry. Prior to joining Forecast Sebastian worked with Credit Suisse as an investment banking analyst for the Latin America region, then moving to work with Wells Fargo as an equity analyst covering the US industrial transportation sector.

When Sebastian isn’t working on financial models, he is playing soccer or touring around the city with his family.

John Ward

Head of Analytics

John is the Head of Analytics for Forecast Australia and has a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University, Master of Applied Science from RMIT and Master of Assessment and Evaluation from University of Melbourne.

For over 20 years, John provided mathematics, statistics, and machine learning expertise to a broad range of industry sectors including property, telecommunications, transport, retail, and education. John has worked in senior management and director positions, and he is the co-founder and board director of a successful geo-spatial analytics company.

John enjoys working with and mentoring data scientists and is truly excited to be growing a world-class data science consulting team.

Gintaras Gelbuda

Senior Software Developer

Gintaras is an experienced full-stack Python/Javascript developer who holds a Bachelor in Informatics from Kaunas University of Technology.

After an academic career in Lithuania and Australia, he worked as a backend python developer and quickly found his way into Full-stack web development. Prior to joining, he was a part of the software development team working with business automation and labour hire software.

When not working, Gintaras loves rock climbing & bouldering, as well as hiking and camping.

Tara Lahooti

Lead Finance Analyst

Tara is a finance analyst who holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking, Finance and Management form Loughborough University in the UK and is a level 3 CFA Candidate.

Prior to joining Forecast, Tara worked as a finance analyst at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and has also worked in restructuring advisory as a business consultant.

Outside of work, Tara's interests include horseriding, fitness, music and travel.

Nick Scougall

Head of Operations

Nick has a B. Economics and a M. Professional Accounting from the University of Sydney, in addition to passing the CFA Level 1 exam.

Prior to joining Forecast, Nick worked as a senior consultant for EY Australia. Starting in the Assurance division, he worked on the audits of some of Australia's largest listed companies, then moving to the Innovation team where he looked at the applications of machine learning and robotic automation for advanced analytics.

In his free time, Nick enjoys football, cooking and programming.
